Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 13, 2026

Todo of the Loom ("the extension") is a gamified to-do list Chrome extension. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.

Data we collect

None. The extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It does not use analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or third-party services of any kind.

Data stored on your device

The extension saves your tasks, game progress, streaks, loom canvas, and settings using Chrome's built-in local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your browser. It is not sent to any server, and the developer has no access to it.

Permissions and why we need them

Storage — Saves your tasks, game state, and settings locally so they persist between sessions.

Alarms — Powers the focus timer countdown and triggers daily recurring task reminders at scheduled times.

Notifications — Displays in-game messages such as task completion events, dust burn results, and recurring task reminders.

Tabs — Opens the extension's own pages (factory, house, loom, gallery) in new browser tabs. No external websites are opened or accessed.

Remote code

The extension does not load or execute any remote code. All scripts run locally within the extension package.

Third-party services

The extension does not communicate with any external servers, APIs, or third-party services.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new effective date at the top.
